PA favours coalition with FF+, ActionSA and ANC but less keen on DA

The Patriotic Alliance (PA) says its preferred coalition partners include the Freedom Front Plus, ActionSA and ANC.
Party President Gayton McKenzie says the party is less enthusiastic about working with the DA, but acknowledges that coalition arrangements may require them to work together.
He says the PA remains open to engaging with all political parties as municipalities begin coalition negotiations.
McKenzie was speaking at the Results Operation Centre (ROC) in Midrand, Johannesburg.
“We have parties that we would like to work with. Freedom Front Plus is one of them because they’re very truthful. ActionSA is one of them because they’re very truthful. Even the ANC, they’re a very good coalition partner. The one we don’t want to work with but we must work with them, we’ll just hold our noses, is the DA. We have preferences. We are human beings, but we don’t like the DA much, but we can’t put our feelings. So, we’ll work with everyone,” says McKenzie.
