IFP says will prioritise skills development for women, young people

IFP President Velenkosini Hlabisa says the party will provide skills development programmes for women and young people if elected into power.
He was addressing party supporters and members during the provincial manifesto launch at Relela village outside Tzaneen in Limpopo.
The IFP has pledged to prioritise job creation, improved service delivery and the fight against corruption ahead of the November 2026 local government elections.
The party’s back-to-back provincial manifesto launches began in North West on Friday and will conclude in KwaZulu-Natal on Sunday.
Hlabisa says the party will ensure that all its election promises are implemented.
“We will ensure that we promote mentorship, we assist our youth and women to access markets and appropriate support. Provision for local farmers including farming equipment where possible. Our young people deserve more than speeches.”
