Ramaphosa on campaign trail in KuGompo City

African National Congress (ANC) President Cyril Ramaphosa is on a campaign trail in KuGompo City in the Eastern Cape.
Ramaphosa will conduct a door-to-door in Mdantsane before convening a community meeting.
Buffalo City Metro is one of the two metros governed by the ANC without coalition.
ANC Provincial Chairperson Oscar Mabuyane says Ramaphosa’s visit aims to reaffirm the party’s position in the province and demonstrate its readiness for the upcoming elections.
“The province is ready for elections. Unity is what we live for. That’s the reason why the province is always much better in terms of the state of readiness for elections. Yes, they are dealing with problems like anywhere in terms of challenges. Local government always brings some quite difficult challenges. It talks to direct issues of our people. It’s the coalface of what our people are experiencing on a daily basis. But as a province we are much better.”
ANC President, Cde Cyril Ramaphosa is on the ground engaging residents through door-to-door engagements in Ward 11 outlining the six priorities of the ANC’s manifesto to tackle service delivery challenges faced by communities ahead of the upcoming Local Government Elections.
