APC open to coalitions prioritising service delivery: Godi

The African People’s Convention (APC) leader Themba Godi says his party is open to forming coalitions with any political party willing to prioritise service delivery.
Godi was addressing party members and councillor candidates in Louis Trichardt in Limpopo.
The party is contesting municipal seats across four districts in the province.
Godi says the APC will align with any party with which it shares a common agreement on governance.
“We are ready to work with anyone, as long as there is a governance agenda, there is a signed agenda and the agreement is binding because what we have seen with our municipalities like the City of Joburg for example, there is governance coalition but there is no governance agreement that has been signed. We want to be in a coalition to improve the delivery of services for our people.”
During the weekend, Godi was leading a party campaign trail in Hazyview, Mpumalanga.
