Millions of South Africans rely on SABC for election news: Malatsi
Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies Solly Malatsi says despite the conversation about funding for the SABC to cover the local government election (LGE), the public broadcaster has still managed to provide comprehensive political coverage leading up the November 4th polls.
Malatsi says, “ The SABC has given every party access to fair coverage leading to these elections.”
Malatsi adds that millions of South African rely on the SABC for LGE related information.
“It is important to reflect on the in-built capability of what the SABC has been able to pull off and its is credit to the men and women that work for this institution.
