ANC volunteers must work hard to grow voter support : Ramaphosa

African National Congress (ANC) President Cyril Ramaphosa has called on volunteers to work hard to grow voter support for the party in the Eastern Cape and Limpopo, which he identified as two of the party’s stronghold provinces.

Ramaphosa met party volunteers in Stutterheim in the Amahlathi District ahead of the November 4 Local Government Elections.

He says, “As volunteers, you are following in the footsteps of the giants of our movement like Nelson Mandela. You are doing the same work done by Nelson Mandela or OR Tambo, all including women such as Winnie Madikizela-Mandela and Mama (Albertina) Sisulu, they were our volunteers.”
