SACP to hold its Red October Rally in Bushbuckridge

The South African Communist Party (SACP) is expected to hold its Red October Siyanqoba Rally in Thulamahashe, Bushbuckridge, in Mpumalanga this Sunday.
The party’s Red October campaign coincides with the November 4 local government elections.
The annual flagship campaign will focus on issues such as fighting the cost-of-living crisis and addressing food insecurity.
SACP General Secretary Solly Mapaila and COSATU President Mike Shingange are expected to attend the rally.
The party will be contesting the upcoming elections independently, and not as part of the ANC-led Tripartite Alliance.
