About the party

The Cape Coloured Congress was formed by Fadiel Adams in August 2020 and was later renamed on August 5, 2023, as the National Coloured Congress (NCC). The party focuses on issues affecting coloured South Africans, initially in the Western Cape, and later nationally. In the 2021 municipal elections, much of its success came from the Cape Flats voters, enabling it to secure seven council seats in the Cape Town Metro. It was also able to secure one more seat in the Saldanha Bay Local Municipality.
