About the party
The Africa Africans Reclaim party (AAR) was officially formed in September 2023 and subsequently launched on October 7, 2023. The AAR was founded by and is led by retired Chief of Defense Intelligence in the SANDF, General Maomela “Mojo” Motau. As a debutant party contesting the 2024 general election, the AAR failed to secure a single seat in the National Assembly or any of the provincial legislatures. The November 4 poll will be the AAR's debut municipal election.
