TYP

About the party

Tikwana Youth Power (TYP) is a civic-action movement from Tikwana township in Hoopstad within the Tswelopele Local Municipality in the Free State province. The group was formed as a response to chronic municipal service delivery failures, poor infrastructure and lack of clean water in Tikwana. It rose into prominence by organising community marches, demonstrations and door-to-door campaigns demanding accountability, basic human need and the resignation of local municipal leadership.
