About the party
The party was initially registered as the People’s Alliance (PAL) in 2008 but changed its name to Conservatives in Action (CIASA) on September 10, 2022, to clear up voter confusion with the Patriotic Alliance (PA). The CIASA focuses on a free-market system, the protection of property and minority rights, and restoring a moral compass to communities.The party contested the 2021 municipal elections under their original name, People's Alliance but did not secure any seats. The CIASA did not win any National Assembly provincial legislature seats in the May 2024 general election.
