About the party
The Limpopo Residents Association (LIRA) emerged as a civic organisation focusing on local service delivery issues and residents’ interests. LIRA took part in the 2016 local government elections – contesting areas such as the Greater Letaba Local Municipality within the Mopani District Municipality. The association secured one seat and has subsequently kept it during the 2021 local municipal election.
