DA holds its final rally in Mamelodi ahead of elections

The Democratic Alliance (DA) will hold its final campaign rally on Saturday morning ahead of next week’s local government elections.

The rally will take place at Moretele Park in Mamelodi, East of Pretoria, where thousands of DA supporters are expected to gather.

DA Federal Leader Geordin Hill-Lewis, who will deliver the keynote address, is expected to outline the party’s position on service delivery challenges facing municipalities across the country.

DA National Spokesperson, Karabo Khakhau, says, “South Africa is ready to vote for service delivery. We are ready to end the chaos of broken municipalities and get our towns and cities working for all. Where we already govern, millions are ready to vote to protect the progress already made.”
