African National Congress (ANC) leaders are making a last push for votes with just two days before its Siyanqoba Rally in KuGompo City in the Eastern Cape on Sunday.

South Africans go to the polls in local government elections on Wednesday next week.

ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa is conducting a door-to-door campaign in Mabopane outside Pretoria.

Ramaphosa told SABC News that he doesn’t suspect foul play in the recurring water crisis.

The country has seen serious water shortages, with fears that this could undermine government’s work ahead of elections.

But Ramaphosa says he does not suspect sabotage, insisting that he trusts that people are working with honesty.
