About the party

Able Leadership (AL) was formed in 2019 but officially launched in Malamulele, Limpopo, on February 27, 2021, with plans to govern alongside traditional leaders. The AL party focuses on local municipalities within Vhembe and Mopani in the northern and north-eastern parts of Limpopo areas that have been plagued by a series of crises, including dilapidated infrastructure, critical water and sanitation shortages, and systemic financial mismanagement. In the 2021 municipal election for the Collins Chabane Local Municipality alone, Able Leadership submitted a list of 56 candidates, ultimately winning two proportional representation (PR) seats
