About the party
Founded in May 2008 by Thinawanga Ernest Mammba and registered in February 2013, the International Revelation Congress (IRC) is a socially conservative, Limpopo-based political party. The party supports corporal punishment for children and opposes Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) and land expropriation without compensation. In the 2016 Thulamela Local Municipality elections, the IRC finished seventh, winning one council seat. By the 2021 municipal elections, it improved its ranking to fifth while retaining its single seat.
