NATIONAL PEOPLES AMBASSADORS

About the party
The National People's Ambassadors (NPA) was established in October 2015 by disgruntled former members of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF). The party describes itself as a "radical, left-wing, anti-capitalist, and anti-imperialist internationalist movement" that wishes to nationalize mines and banks. The NPA has historically maintained a very minor share of the national vote. It failed to win any seats in the 2016 local elections but won its first council representation in 2021 with one proportional representation (PR) seat in the Alfred Duma Local Municipality and one PR seat in the Okhahlamba Local Municipality.
