ISANCO

About the party

The Independent South African National Civic Organisation (ISANCO) was established as a breakaway group from the ANC-aligned South African National Civic Organisation (SANCO) by Dr. Zukile Luyenge on November 28, 2020. ISANCO champions the establishment of municipal community and recreational centres in every ward throughout the country, featuring branches for the Post Office, Home Affairs, SAPS, the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), Social Development, and relevant municipal service offices. In the 2021 municipal poll, the party secured 14 council seats nationally, registering its strongest performance in the Bushbuckridge Local Municipality, where it won five seats.
