Based in the North West province, the Active Citizenry Taung Association (ACTA), came about as a response to severe and ongoing neglect, decay and poor service delivery in the rural settlements of Taung. The group is contesting the November 4 election within the Greater Taung Local Municipality and the Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati district.
