Hill-Lewis rejects claims DA serves one racial group

Democratic Alliance (DA) leader Geordin Hill-Lewis has rejected claims that the DA serves only one racial group, describing those accusations as lies.
Addressing supporters at the party’s final rally in Mamelodi, Tshwane, on Saturday, Hill-Lewis said the party is guided by the belief that every child in South Africa deserves the opportunity to live a good life, regardless of race or background.
He argued that the DA’s governance record shows its commitment to improving the lives of all communities, particularly poor residents.
Hill-Lewis says the DA is a party for all South Africans and remains committed to serving every community across the country.
“There are those who say the DA is only for one race. Do not believe them. They are liars. There is only one belief, one commitment that guides me, and it is this: every single child in our beautiful country, no matter their race, no matter if they are rich or poor, no matter where in South Africa they live, every single child in South Africa deserves the opportunity to live a good life.”
