City of Tshwane mayor and ActionSA mayoral candidate, Nasiphi Moya, says the city needs strong leadership to address challenges facing residents and improve services.

Moya, who cast her vote in Silver Lakes, east of Pretoria, says that while there has been progress in the city over the past two years, many residents are yet to see improvements in their communities.

She says voters must choose leaders who can deliver on their promises.

“There are residents who still have yet to experience a difference in the city. And I’m saying the difference is in the calibre of leaders that you elect, and only the residents can make that decision. After all of us, as political parties, have put our offers out, it is then up to residents to say which of these parties, which of these leaders, have made sense in their offer that resonates with my needs as a parent, as a neighbour, as a community member and as a resident of the city.”
