De Lille urges voters to oust underperforming leaders

Good Party leader Patricia De Lille calls on South Africans to utilise the power of their votes to remove underperforming leaders.
This comes as millions of South Africans head to voting stations across the country this Wednesday.
Speaking to SABC News in Cape Town, De Lille highlighted the importance of using the ballot box.
She emphasised that voting is a tool that can be used to hold leaders accountable.
“First of all, it is the value of the vote to cast your vote as an expression of how you feel, and this is an opportunity once every five years to come out and say, listen, those that we have voted in. In our democracy, the only way we want them out is to vote them out, and elections are about contestation of ideas. It is not about big or small”
Your vote is your voice, your choice and your opportunity to shape the future of our democracy.
GOOD Leader Patricia de Lille, speaking at Pinelands Primary Voting Station, reminds South Africans that elections are about the contestation of ideas, values and principles. If we want change, we must exercise our democratic right and vote for the leadership we believe in.
South Africa’s young democracy depends on citizens who make their voices heard.
