Three strategic SA companies, SABC, Telkom and IEC, communicating info about these elections: Gungubele

Deputy Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies Mondli Gungubele says the department’s main function regarding communication technology during elections pertains to transparency.

Gungubele was interviewed on SABC News Live being broadcast from the Electoral Commission’s (IEC) Results Operation Centre (ROC) in Midrand.

Gungubele says, “You have three strategic South Africa companies, SABC, Telkom and the IEC, having primary capabilities to reliably and exclusively communicate information about these elections.”
